Been using this business for many years now. Mainly Timber and some hardware. Really this is main purpose of business with reasonable prices and good range of size and lengths. Knowing your way around helps but staff are around to point you in right direction. Tiles Importer is really a historical name that does not describe the business.
Have purchased a lot of quality products from Tile Importer including tapware, oven, sinks and about to order some timber flooring. The staff are extremely knowledgable on all their products. I mainly worked with Adriana and she went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I was after and that I was happy with my purchases, nothing was too much. I would highly recommend Tile Importers.
Came in on a Thursday around 4pm with my wife to find a large showroom full of goodies. Unfortunately we had to wait around for a while until the young girl decided we were important enough to get off her mobile phone. As she greeted us it was quite evident the lack of knowledge and experience she had. After walking us through the showroom it was even more evident her lack of knowledge and experience when it came to building and renovating. Hopefully Tile Importer will consider employing Staff that have had more life experiences and can actually hold an adult conversation.
OK here it goes.... Not sure whats happening at Tile Importer but yet again another disappointing experience. The blonde in the showroom has absolutely no clue. Told me she normally works in the office..but because the other girl was sick again she was filling in. I'm sorry but how many times can they use that excuse? the service has gone down hill very quickly. I think its time to head back to the bigger and more reliable suitor...Bunnings.
Been buying from Tile Importers for years. Bought 15 sheets of Yellow Tongue to day getting a "discount". Charged $48 a sheet. Bunnings $47!!! Looks like I'll have to start shopping around again instaed of trusting them.
I just discovered this place & they had exactly what I was looking for - some wide planks (185mm) of Meranti. Looking around their large yard, they seem to have a wide selection of timber species and a great selection of sizes at a price nearly half that of Bunnings. I was able to select the timber myself & the staff were very polite and obliging. So glad I went there & will certainly go there again.
The big, generic hardware stores leave me cold. I thought I'd give one of the smaller mobs a go...and this place is a gem. Easy access, friendly staff and a huge range of products - it's my new go-to place
