We have also started stocking Aussie Steel Fence Posts. These posts have a high galvanized coating to ensure they do not rust compared to modern timber posts which will rot at ground level over time due to water holding and wear. The posts come pre checked out for you DIY guys and girls, meaning that you will not need your power saws to cut the tops off these posts, nor will you have to cut out to fit your rails in. They slide into a wet cement twice as easily as a timber post and are far more lighter, meaning less struggles and less time consuming.
H4 Treated Pine rough sawn rails 75 x 50 mm at 5.4 meters
H4 Treated Pine Plinth Board at 4.8, 5.4 and 6 meters
Treated Pine Palings 100 and 150 mm wide at 1.5, 1.8, 2.1 and 2.4 meters (2.1 and 2.4 subject to availability)
We also carry a range of Cypress Pine Windsor topped Pickets at 90 cm, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8 meters in length

To work out how what materials you need, keep in mind you need to put a post at a maximum every 2.7 meters. This works out three posts per 5.4 meter, being the standard rail and plinth length. For palings, you have a 150 mm paling with a 50 mm gap between making 5 per meter. You then have a 100mm paling covering the 50mm gap with 25mm covering either side of the 150 paling again getting 5 palings per meter.
